As title...are these too wide for an S3? I think they might be, but some guy has them on a Mk4 R32
18x9.5J ET30...too wide?

The offset means the alloy won't clear the front strut, 8.5" wide yes, for 9.5, you will need ET15-20. How much they will poke out of the arch is another thing.
