    Hi,

Does anyone have any pictures of an A3 2.0 tdi sport fitted with 18" rs6 replicas?
I would like to see if the audi sports suspension requires further lowering when these wheels are fitted?
I have read that the s-line has lower springs, and I have seen the s-line with the wheels fitted and they look good. Just wondering that if I fit the wheels to my sport, will I need to lower it.

Also where's the best place to get the replicas?

Any help would be much appriceated.

    Thanks Dan

Just be very careful when buying replica's as the quality between them varies!!!! I've seen some £499 replicas that look awful, really appalling paint finsh on them. But I've also seen some £400 replica's that look sound, nicely finsihed and quite lite.

Mine was the first TT in the country to have them. That was around June 2003. If think they really suit the car.

    Hi,
Thanks for all the info and pictures. I've had a quote for the RS6 replicas, fitted with federal or Maxxis economy tyres for £595.00 delivered. Thats off www.johnsonstyres.com (in Wrexham-north wales), i'm not sure of the quality or where they are made.
Has anyone else dealt with this company? Or bought a set off them?

Also does anyone know what wheel offset my A3 has, it's a 2004 TDI sport, I want to make sure what I buy fits.

    Thank you all,

    Dan

would 19's fit on the A3, with the standard sports suspension, without any problems.

    Cheers

Yep no problems at all but bear in mind the cost of the tyres and also the ride will detoriate.

    Look great though /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

In your s-line's with 18'' which is the size of the wheel with offset 45? Is it 7,5'' like 17'' or 8''? The offset if 45 is already bigger than 17's which is 56. Therefore the wheels on s-line's must come off a little more than sports....is it?

Sure s-line wheels (rs6) are 8'' and offset 45? I'd like to be sure of that, and to me looks strange since I've been looking to several sline pictures and wheels seems not be to be out that much compared with sports setup (7,5'' and offset 56).
About quality of replica's any other new conclusion regarding the best place to get them? Rochford seems to be pretty fine, but what about others like TT shop or johnsonstyres.com......

£60 for the year gets you 12 issues of both mags a year, and they both come out with about two weeks difference in posting, which is quite cool. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif
