would putting a non guenuine bosh maf sensor on my 1.8t give me this code? ive only had it sice its been changed?and i dnt want to waste time and money buying one now if its got northing to do with it
any advice welcome

Possible Solutions

* Check hoses and/or pipes between components
* Check / Replace Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249)
* Check / clean Throttle Valve, do Throttle Body Alignment

Try bypassing the n249 first

17705 means you have got a pressure drop between the turbo and throttle body ie boost leak, maybe split in boost pipe/ dump valve might be knacker. as for the non genuine maf i dont think it woud be causing this might just be coincidence.

yea same thing mate it keeps coming and going !!rite nightmare sounds like two front bearins go now to!!
