17" or 18"

Hey all,

Im thinking of replacing the standard 16" alloys on my 1.8T with either 17's or 18's

18's are always gonna look better, but what is it gonna be like to drive with?.. Or should i comprimise with some 17's?

definately 18"s. 17 s not worth it in my opinion.

I was at first thinking this, and all the things to take into account, ride and cost! Got 18's and wouldn't want to change to 17's. sure ya pay a bit more but I think it's worth it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Excelent... the general consensus is 18"... those will be the ones. Reason i asked was as i've seen other posts where people have downgraded in size, because of the ride quality etc.


Now to decided which ones. RS4's looking the most likley.
