    so not sure if there is or not but is there a pice of plastic or some thing that runs in the grove on the roof on a salon where the roof rack would go

    Mine does not have any plastic trim, just the roof channel.

    I've seen somebody with a rubberised plastic insert, but it looked aftermarket.... not sure why you'd want to as it just looked like a water trap and was fading in the weather pretty badly.... not a good look at all...

    if this helps, roof racks sit on the roof edge and clip up and under the door frame, i know it wont tell you what you asked, but i thought it was worth 2p, :icon_thumright:
