hi, just as summer has hit us, my air con pump has given up the ghost.....
I know by the time i get it fixed summer will be gone... but must be done.

I've got the belly pan off to try and see if I can find a part number anywhere on the unit, can't see a thing though, reckon the label must be on the side next to the engine.

Can anybody tell me if they know the part number for the AWX engine - its a 2001 car, also, do you know if there is more than one part number I need to look out for?

And if anybody has got one....

    Thanks in advance.

I rang my local Audi dealer today, the number they quoted was the same, except the last 2 letters, they quoted 8E0 260 805 AB

So, question is, will either or possibly more numbers fit?

I would really like to be able to get one of the approx £100 jobbies off ebay...

This forum is really a god send mate....I have the same said problem and have been scouring ebay too. Anyone knows if a aircon pump from an A3 I.9 TDI will work on an A4 1.9TDI? I'm assuming it's the same engine or have I got this all wrong...won't be the first time...

    With Thanks
