Morning,

had my audi since Dec and noticed then it only gets to about 70 on the temp, runs totally fine so never really worried about it, just wonding what the common issue(if any) that causes this?....

Very common. Mine currently doesn't go over 70. Usual suspects are thermostat or temperature sensor. Which I have both waiting to change.

As above, stuck thermo. Get it changed and enjoy the extra mpg.

weirdly i wouldnt say it was bad on diesel, usually get 620+miles out of a tank, usually round the 650miles mark

and if you have a good heater theres not much wrong just another 1.9 that doesn't get up to temp
