wanting to fit bigger brakes, will the front brake set up of an S4 fit onto a diesel?

or is there any other options?

the discs at the moment look tiny behind the 18's

Yes the b5 S4 and B6 S4 will fit. I fitted the B6 S4's to mine and they made a huge difference and the discs are massive.look great behind the wheel :icon_thumright:

I Changed my Hoses but was told i didnt really need to but id already bought them!
Make sure you get the Disc guards and the Hose mounting brackets - I forgot these the first time so had to drive a couple of days Cable tied...not recommended.

Yes straight on. The discs are 345mm so nice and big, braking is amazing too. Just have to be careful at first because you get used to your old brakes then when breaking in these can be very sharp so you could end up Nuttin the screen.....(if you forget to put your seatbelt on...)

Ha.Joke.
All in all the setup cost me less than £260 because I had to buy a few bits seperate courtesy of PJMspeedy!
I got them off a breaker for £170 (discs/Pads/Calipers) Disc/pads had only clocked up 1500mls so kept them...
Defo a must upgrade, feels alot sturdy when breaking, nice n sharp
