    Hi Guys

I have head a quick search but to no avail, has anyone ever written a guide to rebuilding a 1.8t??

Finally have an AGU but want to strip it and give it a check over before use as its at circa 90K.

Normally i would have used a Haynes but i know the recent ones don't cover engine rebuilds.

Does anyone know if the A3/Golf manuals do? If not any other guides?

    Thanks

My A3 haynes manual has all the OEM torque settings etc in... just don't use the rod settings if fitting forged rods...

Only available to VW Dealers. All eBay copies etc are illegal backups.

That said eBay ones are usually ok.

Elsa gives you all the details you need. It's basically the idiots guide that the VAG mechs use. Gives you step by step instructions, diagrams, and torque settings.
