Hi all,
Basically I think I might know the answer, just wanted to see what you thought? 99 FL 1.8T Tiptronic. I've plugged in the car and have no codes on VCDS. The car is fine on throttle response, but when I get to idle, fine in neutral and park, but when I sit there in gear and foot on the brake, the engine hunts from 900 to 1000ish.
I've replaced a vacuum valve, which has helped a bit, I've checked for vacuum pipe leaks and can't find any.
Do I need to clean out the MAF sensor or could it be something else?
