1/4 miles in my BiTdi!

Represent Audi-sport at GTI International!

So whilst here, it's only natural I was going to take the A6 down the 1/4 miles to see what she can do? Armed with my TDI-Tuning 2 channel box set to the maximum power setting, It's suppose to be running 377bhp/556lb/ft Torque, and I'm in full road spec with full interior. I was up against a fellow moderator also, that's his time on the left side of the timing slip, mine is on the right!

13.316s @102.89mph is what I got! Full report(when I get the video)on this will be created in another thread.

Congrats mate that's a very strong time for a heavy diesel family car. What mods you got, just a tune? Have you tried dpf removal

Indeed in that particular race you beat me just .
I fudged second to third a bit so lost the initial small lead I had with the slightly better launch. It's hard to make that back but I was catching you at the end of the quarter with a higher terminal speed.
If you had done some more runs you would probably have picked up the trophy.
I was slightly dissapointed only running a 13.21 at 108 mph. I have changed the wheels on the car back to the 17's I had on before just to see what the difference is in the times tomorrow.

Nice one Karl, I expected you to win this one! Doubt I can better my time, there's not much more I can do to improve on my time, the launch is perfect, I felt the gear changes was pretty bang on also. Interior out next year perhaps? Lol

Had another run today went a little faster but still didn't get a 12 second time which is what I was aiming for.



No trophy today, I strongly suspect that went to Bobby Singh who I saw do a 12.1 at 114 mph which is a pretty fast time for any car let alone a 3.0 diesel estate. Well Done Bobby.

Quite happy with the smoke level, or lack of it. Rick really does a great job, you don't need to have smoke to get poke with a diesel.
