03 s3 short shift.

    I was wondering if anybody could tell me what short shift kit this is? Was already on the car when I bought it but its abit too short for me, the gears aren't that smooth especially 3rd and 2nd.

    looks like ebay jobbie.
    might be your dogbone mount thats causing the the gearshift problems.
    Or you might need to just realign the cables, ten minute job

    Looks like it's set up ultra short currently. Whip the circlip off and remove the cable end, the. Loose the stud and slide it outstares from the pivot a bit. Then do a cable setup and all should be sweet.

    I thought that would be the the way to make the throw a tad longer, thanks prawn.

    realigned the gear linkage before and it's made a massive difference, the gears feel much better. I haven't adjusted the throw just yet as I don't think it needs it now.

    Dog bone mount next :) cheers for the help again.
