last year I bought my S6 one owner full service history, the car had travelled 232000 Kms
I change cam belt, water pump, tensioner, idlers, serpentine belt, v/cover gaskets, trans filter
using Blauparts Ravenol fluid. Have since done 15000km. Tonight after a slow open road trip home
turning into our street the car stayed in 1st till 7000rpm and yet I was giving her very light throttle
then when I pulled up the car sounds like the fans are on, opened bonnet and no fans on. On car is
restarted the noise is gone. The car has hung in a low gear aprox 3 times in the last 9 months and
I have only noticed the noise when I arrive home, a few times after giving the car a bit of stick up
the road. Always thought it was the fans, but again turn the car off restart and the noise is gone.
Any ideas
