Hi Forum.
I have a pretty good Avant with just over 80k on the clock. I have the BRE engine but although the cambelt was changed at 47k I have not had any problems with the water or oil pump.
The S line auto box works perfectly most of the time (doesn't like cold weather) so I have had the oil changed £125 incl filters etc.
Apart from an intermittent brake light warning light that came on because I used a Toyota garage to replace all the discs and pads I have had no probs and can get 800 miles on a long run.
My big worry is the Oil pump hex key that is a feature of so many engine self destructions. Do I have the centrifugal balancer shafts and if I do how will I know.
Obviously I do not want to have it looked at just in case.
Thanks and any suggestions will be read
