I was in a very similar position last year!
Someone crashed into my motor just as I was about to get around a grands worth of parts added....so everything had to be put on hold for a month or two. Luckily for you there's a third party involved so there's chance you could get the vehicle repaired from their insurance I got hit by a scum bag who just drove of and didn't leave any details

Thanks mate, I actually spent 1,200 on parts and was going to get the FMIC and remap next month. Hopefully the car gets sorted through the third party and everything goes ahead as planned.

Where did you get the pads from? I got mintex at the moment but I hear nothing but good things about ferodo pads

I'm running ferrodo ds2500 on my Leon cupra r, they are wicked but I just resprayed my wheels silver..... They are now black!
They almost powder coat my wheels weekly with brake dust. But good braking.

people use whatever gauge they desire my good man. any 52mm gauge can be made to fit in there.
the custom bit is making up some sort of pod / plate to house it in!

Did you decide on boost gauge or liquid mate? I couldn't do without my drivers side blower so I have a pillar mount , I just need to fit it properly and lose the duck tack tape and self tapping screw lol

I'm starting to think my std k04 with 90k isn't going to get me there.
My list of mods are:
-Badger5 v2 80mm tip - heatshield - Jetex.
- relentless v3 3" downpipe and decat
- relentless v3 manifold
- 600x300x76mm ASH intercooler + all piping from viper performance.
- miltek cat back exhaust system.
Going to order IE rifle drilled rods and Bosch 550 injectors from badger bill.
On the hunt for an AEB/AEM/AGU large port head also.

Wouldn't your new DP and manifold be useless now if you change your turbo to anything but a K04 Hybrid? Anything other than a K04 would be a complete change of direction on your build. Doesn't mean you shouldn't do it though!
I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking.. Not overly concerned if it is. Just wanted to know what was needed and like you have, just wanted it pointing out if it can't be done with 'said' mods.

be looking at new manifold? new lines, an for safety id do exhaust valves an maybe piston rings too while your at it, thats my plan anyways!
Cheapest and esiest option for you with your current mods is either a hybrid ko4, orrrr, you could follow what sam bryant has done and fit a chinese 2871 to the ko4 stuff. This requires new flanges on the mani and downpope, and new lines. Sam got to 350hp.
I like the sound of hybrid actually, anyone or company out there that would refurb and hybrid mine, of easier to source one from new?
