My husband bought back my fav ever car. Whilst it was lovely having it back I think sometimes it's best to keep it as a memory.. It's never the same 2nd time around :-)
Totally agree! It's hard to drive the v8 sensibly! However it still returns similar mpg than our old highly strung skylines did and who cares.. I know that every time I drive either of them I always have a grin like a Cheshire Cat at somepoint because of them!
On paper maybe! We had a b7 2.0t special edition that had been mapped.. Our mpg was always around 40- 42mpg. Our b8s4 does around 22- 25 mpg around town and the most we have seen on a run is 30mpg. It's definitely a little better than our mapped b6 s4. We see 23mpg daily and up to 27mpg taking...
We reciently replaced one of our cars with a b8 s4. We were lucky and found a perfect condition one not far from home. We have also been lucky enough to keep our b6s4. Both lovely cars! We fell across the b8 s4 whilst looking for an rs4 or s5 We looked at a b7rs4 that was a dog and as u have...

We have a 2.0 and its a really nice car, as I drive our s4 normally I find it quite nice getting in to our 2.0 t fsi as it feels like a go cart! We have had it re mapped and our fuel consumption is always around 40 to 43 mpg. B4 the re map it was seeing figures around 35 to 37 mpg. Ours does use...
we have a b6 s4 cab and a b7 special edition saloon.... i love the s4 i just wish it had the same front as the b7... the reason we went for a b6 s4 was because the road tax was a lot less than on the b7 (im not sure if thats the same for the 1.8 or 2.0 t so worth a check) the only real...
does the clutch switch need replacing ? im sure its a common fault on the b7 2.0 tfsi, a friend had theirs replaced not so long ago because of reving on its own. im sure its not an expensive part to replace :0)
you should be able to just lift the plastic up enough just to slide the cardboard in, you have to wiggle it about a bit as its a bit fiddly but took no more than 5 minutes :)
Oh no! either way you'll need to mask it up. to be honest i thought i would have a couple of runs but it smooths its self out. really weird stuff! luckily it peels off easily ha! good luck next time :0)
we were going to remove the bumper but decided not to. We undid the three bolts on the top of the grill, slid a large piece of card down behind the grill but in front of the radiator as far as the filler plate and then put lots of folded paper up behind from the splitter making sure that the...
