Labour on fitting a tyre?? Never heard of that, it is usually part of the price of the tyre, and from the looks of yours and 10 yrs tyre experience would tell me it knackered. A soft side wall will cause a blow out at high speeds or high temperature, not worth the risk bud, get a decent pair...

I would highly recommend the Bridgestone Ptoenza, expensive and can only be replaced in 4's, which is best practice anyway really. They are around £600 a set, but still work really well at low tread, i had 4 on me Focus St and they were sticky but hard wearing
