Well The wiring is just an adapter and has worked fine until this problem.
I fixed the problem by buying new fans and fitting them. As far as i can tell the issue was caused by the flat battery rather than anything else.
The car is a 2006 2.0 Tdi SB
Hi.
I have had my RNS-E unit fitted for a few months but a few weeks ago i had an issue with the fan unit on the car and it was flattening the battery, However i have now fixed the problem and have run the car for a couple of weeks with no issues but from the moment the battery went completely...
Ok Thanks guys. Just had a quick look on eBay and found this. Seems too cheap really but is this what i need?
RADIATOR FAN MOTOR AND BLADE for Audi | eBay
Ok thanks for the reply's. I did do a search but it showed a few possible issues so i thought with the fault code it could be narrowed down.
Any ideas where the best place to get a replacement from? Or is it a case of audi only?

Hi Guys.
recently i have noticed my fan has been running after the engine has been stopped.. sometimes it will start when the car hasn't been driven that day and is parked up and locked. It was intermittent to start with but is now getting more common and today it did it whilst i was at work...
Hi, The coin tray in the dash is a simple job.. just pop into Audi and buy the correct part and then pull the trim off around the buttons and remove the blanks and their holder and insert your coin tray (also if you have a plug for it behind the dash plug the light in so your symbol lights up)...
Thanks for the advice guys.. i can save more but i guess im just a bit reluctant to spend £700 on suspension as im not that flush lately.. plus the girlfriend has an A3 too and will also want a set if i go down that route!
I guess springs it is.
Much appreciated guys.
Hi ads. No i will fit them myself as i have done a lot of work on cars previously. My concern with spring kits is getting the car to sit just right, whereas with the coilies you can play with the height to get it right. Im aware that if you spend more you will get better quality but in sure not...
Ok thanks guys, im well aware you get what you pay for but im trying to find a good middle ground.
Anyone else had good/bad experience with the vmaxx ones?
Thanks

I know most of you will probably say dont go for cheap ones but unfortunately i cannot afford big money to spend on my suspension.
The most i can spend is...
Here are a couple of photo's of small mods i have been doing.

And my double din conversion..
Obviously i havent quite finished the conversion as i still need to source the correct buttons and coin tray and the trim to go around them but its a start.
