I have a reply from Rosstech. Your car is indeed a newer model, and as such audi have removed the module 46 from 2010 cars, and integrated the systems into 09 - central electrics. So that explains the fact that there's no controller showing up!! They are still looking at your map report...

I emailed the autoscan and module mapp of 09 module to rosstech support last night, so I'm waiting for the response. I'm gutted mate, we will get it sorted. :banghead:

Just had a play with vagcom, and tried to enable the chirp when opening the doors via remote. option 3 isn't an option on my S3. Wierd. The display box pops up saying what each otion does, but when i click up and down it goes from 1 - 2 no 3 , same when i enter it manually. it doesn't...

All sorted!!! The car is so new, that it was the 812 beta version i needed. Som much faster with all the systems as well, like an autoscan took half the time as with the 805.3. I'm happy now :rockwoot:

I do know what caused it though, it was turning the ignition on whilst the glove box was removed. (airbag on/off switch location). And you were right, the VAG405 won't link to the airbag system, does prett6y much everything else, but thte thing i need it to. Guess I'll be ringing Genden.

I would dearly love one of these, however, I'm now skint due to the outlay on this car, so If I'm honest, for now I just need to reset the airbag light in the cheapest way poaaible. I will be purchasing the VCDS software ASAP. But it will be a few months Andy
