Yeah the heated seats are great, don't think I'd be without them now. Ive been thinking about what I posted earlier and I'm not 100% sure pre facelift BE cars came with heated seats so it'll be worth checking any cars you're interested in.
Lack of chrome is definitely a bonus, however I think...
Hi Si,
I've had two C7 A6 avants a 2013 S Line and a facelift 2017 Black Edition both 2.0l diesels. Pre facelift was 177 ps multitronic and my current facelift is a 190 ps ultra S-Tronic. Audi facelifted the A6 in 2015, the front and rear bumpers were changed as were the side skirts (for S...
Congrats on the car. The A6 is a lovely place to be and I'm sure you'll not be disappointed. Don't think there's anything specific to look out for. What colour did you go for?
Lol yeah it does slightly, as soon as I get my V5 through the plates will be getting changed anyway and I'll make sure it's straight.
My 2013 avant was just an S Line so I may not have considered it had I already had a black edition. Always thought the wheels were too small for the size of the...
Thanks mate, yeah the colour does look pretty black under certain light and its probably the wrong time of year to really appreciate the colour. My previous prefacelift avant was black and I vowed never to buy another dark coloured car again simply due to the fact they're awful to keep clean. I...
Thanks chaps, the moonlight blue does look so good in the metal. Just standard black edition spec with heated memory seats and folding mirrors which I think was standard for 2017 cars anyway :)
Picked up my nearly new A6 Avant Black Edition yesterday after trading in my 2013 A6 Avant S Line. Really pleased with the car so far although had a minor heart attack at the 472 quid a year road tax which for a 2.0l diesel is scandelous........ I'm sure I could have taxed an RS6 for that...
I've been at work today and the wife has had the car. She used it this morning with no issue then came home. When she had to go out again about 40 minutes later the car wouldn't start. The display was just flashing up that it needs to be in park to start (which it was). She moved the gear...
Nice write up fella, I was thinking about this set up for my avant. I like the fact you can just remove it at the drop of a hat :)
Will be interesting to hear your long term thoughts on it.
Yeah the drop is excessive, but the wheels are lovely. Not cheap mind. I've also had stupidly low cars in the past and they're a pain most of the time :(
