My guess would be there's a lot more traffic during the day and typically more accelerating and braking than usual. That will tank your MPG. I get the same. If I travel during peak hours I average around 30mpg but on quiet mornings I can manage 41mpg.

I've ready through it but I've missed any details of it being connected to the car to detect the box?

Does the box have to be connected to the car to start making profiles as my PC is detecting it but not in the app?
