Don't hide the remap from your insurers it is not worth it. For the sake of a few quid (usually based upon % bhp increase) you will not have your life destroyed if you have a bad accident. There are lot's of chip friendly insurers who should be able to sort you out with a decent quote.

DMitch is right. I have had several occasions where the doors have unlocked, both front windows wound down and then the doors lock again. The trouble with this feature of the VAG keyfob/Audi is the fob buttons (particularily the open door button!) can be pressed down when in your pockets...
