nah starter motor is fine it sometimes does start & once started it goes fine i think its just an electronic problem to do with key or immobiliser , yes i think it is an agu model,

1998 audi a3 Problem is when i turn the key the orange car/key symbol comes up but just keeps flashing therefore the car doesnt start, itl start then instantly cut out, ive read the manual & it mentions an electronic chip in the key etc but god knows, i only have the one key for the car at the...

Im kinda new to this & this is probably quite a common queerie, I have a 1998 audi a3 1.8 turbo, just curious to how often the timing belt needs changed? i has some history which states it was done at around 78k i think, so how often after that? & also should i get water pump done at same time...

sorry mate its a 1998, 1.8 turbo 150bhp model, agu engine code i think? the car is not mapped i dont think it will get remapped i just replaced clutch & flywheel & then read up the standard clutch wouldnt cope with remapped power so that wont be getting done lol, thats good i dont want too much...

i have a 1.8 turbo a3 with a tip, forge diverter valve & a cat back miltek exhaust, thinking of fitting a decat pipe, just wondering will this result in lights coming up on the dash due to the cat being removed?? & will this make a big difference to the noise of exhaust, any feedback would be...

I guys i have a 98 a3 1.8 turbo 150 bhp model, quite new to this so here goes, today my clutch started slipping, not bad in first and second but from 3r d gear up from about 3k rpm is just revs and nothing else, will i have to replace just the clutch pr more? And i am thinking of a remap soon...
