hi all the way i look at high mileage cars is they have been up to temp sitting in one gear and going up and down motorways that is the best mileage you can put on a car as long as it as a good service history it does not have to be main dealer and preferably not on longilfe servicing i would...
i have noticed this on quite a few news items recently . people having parked cars on the sea front no doubt knowing there is a huge storm coming and just leaving them there to be battered by waves coming over the sea wall . another shown cars in a car park at first the water was about a foot up...

hi mate when you go to buy the master cylinder change your mind and buy 2 new front brake calipers no disrespect mate but you really need a garage to sort them or at least someone that knows what they are doing . you don't need me to tell you how important the brakes are please don't take...

This is just one of many many problems in the vw audi range . i am on my eighth audi now they have all been older cars and manual so no real problems to speak of but i have lost confidence in the manufacturer now . i was looking to replace the car i have now with the b7 a4 but that as oil pump...

very tempting as we use morrisons every week but i once put there diesel in my 1.9 tdi and the engine sounded like a bag of spanners . some people say that there is no difference between the big names and the super market fuel but i think there is so i will pass on this one
hi all . i am thinking of selling my a4 1.9 tdi avant and buying an a6 2.0 tdi avant what i realy need to know is what year audi sorted the oil pump balance shaft issue . also which engine code to avoid i will be looking at a late 2007 or 08 s line. many thanks in advance
its the first 3 years thats the issue before the first mot . a car could in theory do in excess of 50.000 miles a year quite easily what if some unscrupuless owner turned the clock back before every service ie first service actual 50.000 on the clock 20.000 have it serviced book stamped at...
there is a section in the a6 forum called 3.0 tdi buyers guide where a fella put his vcds on 3 a6s at a dealers 2 had been clocked so i am guessing you can interogate the ecu for milage tampering
you may be able to get information from insurance companies but as said in my previous post only if a claim as been made otherwise how do you expect them to know
any hpi company can only tell you what they know . so any amount of damage can happen to a car but if it is not subject to an insurace claim ie repaired privately then the hpi company will have no records of this and therefore will not be able to tell you about it in the report you receive . my...
