What do the bonnet vents do?

This has been considered many times before by any people. After investigation it's prohibitively expensive & as already been said - much cheaper to just buy a quattro. I'm not sure anyone has actually gone through with the conversion (maybe 1 or 2)

Will the tow bar from my 03 plate avant fit an 05 plate avant? 03 is 2.5tdi & 05 is 3.1 s line (if it makes any difference) Tia

Sorry I can't help. but I'll be watching this as similar problem. everyone's telling me to do the dmf. but think I may have engine mount problem too if I do. I'm tempted to give up or live with it

sadly i dont do any work - so it costs me full whack at the garage. thats the thing - i could spend 7k on an a6 avant & still walk into a load of costs - at least with mine, if i get it done i know that it is pretty sound - the only thing i am worried about is getting the DMF done & that still...

i woul suggest the only place you want to drive that to is the garage to get it done - otherwise you will be getting rid of it for parts or have a much bigger bill - i am in a similar boat - but with a much less valuable car. best of luck

I had needle lift sensor fault - replaced it & still have it. Has no noticeable effect on cars driving, so wouldn't suggest it's that

Personally I'd return it to more factory look. But, Get rid of black wheels, lose tints, maybe colour code bumper bits, lose silver on front grill / honey comb front grill & debadge
