    Exhaust valve 3.0tdi

Won't make a difference audibly or performance wise. DPF is the sound deadener, not the mufflers. :thumbs up:

    Exhaust valve 3.0tdi

As in, a straight pipe from front to back? That would certainly be classed as DPF + Muffler delete. These cars don't have any middle boxes or resonators, just the DPF and the two mufflers at the rear. For MOT purposes as of right now, DPFs and mufflers are visual checks, and if the car is mapped...

    Exhaust valve 3.0tdi

You'll get very little noise increase with a stock DPF in place. I'd save the money and put it towards gutting the DPF + a remap to accomodate if you really want a noise increase. If you do gut the DPF (or remove it entirely with a straight pipe), your mufflers are then the last thing to be...

    Air filter bypass valve

Are you referencing the one going to the bypass valve in the bottom of the airbox? On 3.0TDI engines it opens at 3KRPM to allow more air in. If faulty or unplugged has been known to throw a fault code, though I don't remember clearly whether it caused limp mode or not. It's good to have this...

    Random Warnings

A decent battery checker will tell you the ampage and cell condition. I use a yuasa battery tester at my work place and have every bit of confidence in it. Any Halfords will do a free battery test and tell you the ampage. If it's got good health and plenty of amps, say 75 - 90% of maximum...

    Random Warnings

If you don't have one yourself, head to a local halfords. They'll do a free battery test and can check voltage and ampage. Had plenty of cars come in throwing random lights and faults, which turned out to be the battery getting low.

Unknown port on 2.0t intake manifold.

If it physically has no hole in it, then yes in theory you could boost tap there by drilling it out and fitting a sensor. I'm not sure I would feel comfortable drilling inwards though with it fitted as i'd be worried about small pieces of plastic going into the engine.

Unknown port on 2.0t intake manifold.

This is the point being tapped by a tuner here, so the credit goes to him (bobby). Usually has a brass coloured bolt with a 10mm head in its place to blank it.

Unknown port on 2.0t intake manifold.

Potentially. 3.0TDIs have an unused port on the top intake manifold which can be used for monitoring boost.

    Advice audi 2.0 tfsi cdnc

Are you referencing swirl flaps? If you are, by default a swirl flap is open when not on or the actuator fails during operation, which would be facing up, allowing you to see past both sides of the flap straight down into the bowels.

Help Please CDUC Timing Chain Tensioner

The rattle when cold is due to no oil pressure in the tensioner. When cooling down it slowly decreases in pressure, which you then experience, if enough time has passed, chain rattle. I have no knowledge of non-revised and revised tensioners, so i wont speak on that. My 2007 3.0TDI CAPA had the...

    Steering & Seat vibration ???

Had this on my car for almost the entire life of owning it, except I had 17s. I also had steering wheel judder under braking on the original set of brake discs. It was a combination of a buckled front wheel and warped brake discs. After no end of wheel balancing, I had the front discs changed to...

Help Please Black Roof Rail Damage

Considering those roof rails are metal, I would suggest a solvent-based product like 'Koch Chemie Eulex', or if you don't want to wait, AutoGlym Tar and Glue Remover from a local Halfords. The latter isn't as strong, but it's certainly got a lot more poke than car shampoo. Pop some rubber gloves...

    A4 2014 3.0 tdi chain rattle

My apologies. The M and P letters are quite far away on the keyboard, and I thought you were referencing the DPF with a different word that began with M

    A4 2014 3.0 tdi chain rattle

I'd be surprised if the DPF needs replacing. Those are not at all cheap due to the valuable material that makes up the filter itself. You could ask them to clean it out while they're there, although most garages would do that simply by force regenerating the DPF using the engine's regen system...

    A4 2014 3.0 tdi chain rattle

It sounds like chain rattle to me. It would make sense for it to need replacing around that level of mileage. Some are luckier and go longer without being plagued by a continuous rattle like yours, but will typically experience a brief rattle on cold startup that goes away after a second or so...

Non-OEM roof bars on B8.5 Avant?

From my understanding, these are obtainable only through the dealer. When I have looked for these on the Thule website for people's vehicles at my day job, those ones don't ever appear. They appear to simply be a roof bar and a foot pack, but the latter being a curved part that goes straight...
