I sold my A4 (1996 2.6se) a while back to a guy at work and he has hit it. He now has something protruding through the bumper as you can see in the pictures, it metal and sort of tube shaped. Any ideas as to what it is - part of the bumper, chassis?
He also has a set of RS6 replica wheels...
A massive thankyou to everyone who has voted so far to put him in the lead.
He has picked up some serious competition this weekend with a girl coming from nowhere and closing fast.
If there is anyone else who can possibly help him you will make a little boy very happy:)
His make up was done on holiday, there was Pirate night at the club on the holiday park. He was running round all night going arghh harrrrggghh and whacking everyone with a big plastic pirates sword :)
My wife has entered my 3 year old son into a competition on the colgate smiles website, the prize if he should win is a party in the theme of his picture with lots of goodies and an entertainer all provided.
He's doing very well at the moment and is in 1st place but the competition still has...

The ride height is already lower, i bought some lowering springs not long after getting the car. The shocks have now done nearly 110,000 miles and are pretty worn.
My 95 A4 2.6se needs some new suspension, its getting a little bouncy, unfortunatley i can't afford a nice set of coilovers like everyone seems to recommend so need to look for alternatives, maybe something like these? any thoughts, suggestions.
Sorry to jump on your post, but i have a similar question, hope you dont mind. My A4 (95 2.6se) has a button on the key but i'm guessing the battery is flat. Is it as simple as replacing the battery and it will work or will it need reprogramming?
Only consider tiscali if your not much of a down loader, as olly suggested check adsl guide and before you sign upto anyone read the small print for fair use policies and acceptable useage policies. I heard a quote about tiscali somewhere "tiscali, the nets only limited unlimited isp", made me...
I dont know if you know where radstock is m8, its about 8-10 miles out of bath but there is a body shop called excel bodyworks, they did my brothers capri 280 brooklands for him and did a great job. I can find you out a number if you think its close enough to you.
Making doors and windows smaller is a pretty standard practice. Allowing anything up to 10mm (5mm per side) to the tightest measurement in the opening allows for door to be positioned perfectly square. All doors and windows are "bunged up" after fitting, if you didn't you would get leaks...
