1.8ftsi, 150k. Engine warning light came on a few weeks ago, simple scan showed runner flap issue. Had a look, common fault where the arm had snapped off inside the manifold. New manifold fitted, along with a new flap position sensor. Vcds basic settings completed no issues. Fault remains...

Mine was drinking a litre in 400ish miles and never smoked even a tiny bit!

So 500ml in 625 miles. Within the Audi oil consumption levels!

How much are you using? Any more than a litre in 600miles and it usually points towards piston rings on these engines. Common fault usually from factory, and well documented. Nothing in those photos screams oil leak to me, minor at worst. Certainly not requiring a regular top up!

A lot.....it's a HUGE amount. Like astronomical!if it was leaking from say a burst oil pipe at the turbo, the underside of the car would be coated and and dripping in oil. It'd literally be everywhere!

A litre of oil in 150 miles? That's 2 stroke mix you are running there, like 20:1.... I'm not sure how long Audi kept doing the repair, worth speaking customer services though. Audi rebuilt most certainly will cost the more than the car.

Scrap that. The gen 2 engine only had 1 boost sensor, the gen 3 has 2.

Long story short, I have a TDI tuning box here from a Mk5 polo GTi (1.8tsi). I also have a 2010 1.8 tfsi A3 8p that could use a little extra grunt. From what I can't tell the boost pressures as std are very close, and the sensors are certainly the same. The only connections are the 2 boost...

Evening folks. Quick one. One of my LED DRL's failed, and its now rolling around inside the headlight unit. It's almost 100% a headlight out job - Do I need to remove the front bumper? I've seen there is a headlight mount up behind the arch liner, but not sure about the front. Thanks in advance.
