Yeah they also said the same about the OEM mud flaps not fitting the s-line trim, but it got mine on fine with a little bit of trimming on the front set.
I also saw mentioned online that it is "not for s-line" and thought it odd as it is exactly the same shape as the s-line valance. I also...
I looked at getting one of these. If the part number on it is "8EC 071 611 A" Audi say that it will not fit when the car has a tow bar.
Looks nice, Maybe it can be modded enough to get it to fit. Do you actually use the tow bar?
The clips on the valance/diffuser shown on Martin's photos are shaped like barbs and they fit through rectangular slots in the bumper and lock in, that is why they are quite hard to get out.
From under the car, remove the 2 screws that support the valance. Get a flat tip screwdriver and from...
No prob.
The cleaning i did was in preparation for my intercooler/exhaust/remap. With the car on 38K miles the amount of build up was really surprising as was the amount of oil sitting in the inter-cooler system.
I have Seat Exeo front and rear mud flaps fitted to my s-line avant. A small bit of plastic needs to be trimmed on the bottom of the front mud flaps where they meet the s-line side skirts to make them fit nice and flush.

I thought the same when I took my bumper off for the first time. It's an odd design. My guess is that the bends are there to make room for the way the rear of the B7's bumper and grill fit.
A small local garage near me does the same thing. He puts an advert in the local paper advertising £25 mot's if you cut out this advert. He then trys to sting you for an mot fail that they he can repair for you to get your car through the mot.
I've had first hand experience of it. I had done...

It was horrible to fit. It took a lot of faffing, trimming, cutting, swearing, grinding, custom mounts making, bending...
Easy to remove, plenty of guides on the web. Bumper off is best but you could just remove the under engine tray and pop off the bottom pipe of each inter-cooler (if your A4 has 2)
I can't say about before or after as I had literally just bought the car and within a week or two I fitted the...
When I fitted my front mount inter-cooler i drained roughly 0.5L of black oil out of the left hand stock inter-cooler. The car had 37000 Miles on the clock at the time. Im guessing this is normal due to the pcv system.
