This may sound a silly question but when exploring removing my private plate the DVLA document made mention of scrapping a car, and said it needs to be "complete" or words to that effect. I doubt vehicle disposal peeps aren't worried if a few mechanical parts are missing surely?

My 54 plate is currently on 244k and still drives well, but quite a lot of rust setting in now, spent quite a lot trying to keep air con going over last two years as travel a lot in it.....auto headlights levelling knackered, fuel pump sensor warning light on altho no issue etc etc It's a shame...

how do you mean? In terms of trying to re-map? Some of the threads I found have said despite larger engine almost more economical than the 2 litre as less work on the motorway etc? And smoother ride?

Sorry to ask a question within the thread but about to buy an A6 around 13plate. Was looking at the 2.0 but took a 3 litre non-quattro for a drive today and thought may be more expensive to run than a 2litre but having read some other threads 3litre may be better option....?

hi My bonnet release cable appears to be working, it pops the bonnet. However when pulling the lever out from The grille it doesn't seem to work. I've watched a few videos on YouTube but nothing seems all that clear. Can anyone advise on best method and tools I will need? To top it off...

I need to change a bulb on my saloon but the head of the bolt has rounded off. I can probably unbolt it wth a pair of long nosed pliers but ideally would buy a new one then to replace. Have tried googling but just brings up answers in relation to cluster replacement... Any help apprecoated
