Tbh too many electrical gremlins, teenage kids with no room in back etc.....
It’s gone but not forgotten, best car I have had for trouble free motoring
I'm not all that mechanically minded but the roof gutter, arches, door sills starting and the rear arm or main cross thing, and garage couldn't even get it off..... talking about getting a welder in etc just wouldn't be worth it value wise.
Spent out 350 on air con last summer and ****** failed...
This may sound a silly question but when exploring removing my private plate the DVLA document made mention of scrapping a car, and said it needs to be "complete" or words to that effect.
I doubt vehicle disposal peeps aren't worried if a few mechanical parts are missing surely?
My 54 plate is currently on 244k and still drives well, but quite a lot of rust setting in now, spent quite a lot trying to keep air con going over last two years as travel a lot in it.....auto headlights levelling knackered, fuel pump sensor warning light on altho no issue etc etc
It's a shame...
how do you mean? In terms of trying to re-map? Some of the threads I found have said despite larger engine almost more economical than the 2 litre as less work on the motorway etc? And smoother ride?
Sorry to ask a question within the thread but about to buy an A6 around 13plate. Was looking at the 2.0 but took a 3 litre non-quattro for a drive today and thought may be more expensive to run than a 2litre but having read some other threads 3litre may be better option....?
Cheers for suggestions. My local Indy managed to source the new blades and fitment direct from VW today. I know he wouldn't fleece me as had good prices from him for years but they just cost me £45 [emoji44]

I'm not sure if these are original but eurocarparts/ Halfords etc cannot source with right fitting...
I can't seem to find anything online either...
Any help is much appreciated

Can't get to my vw indie next week as he is rammed. What oil can I use just to bring up level before a full change week after
hi
My bonnet release cable appears to be working, it pops the bonnet. However when pulling the lever out from
The grille it doesn't seem to work.
I've watched a few videos on YouTube but nothing seems all that clear.
Can anyone advise on best method and tools I will need?
To top it off...
I need to change a bulb on my saloon but the head of the bolt has rounded off.
I can probably unbolt it wth a pair of long nosed pliers but ideally would buy a new one then to replace. Have tried googling but just brings up answers in relation to cluster replacement...
Any help apprecoated
Ah cheers top advice! May have to find a vag guy near me rather than take it to my garage in first instance just to get codes.
Thanks for your help once again will let you know what Vcds says
Hi yes the yellow symbol for headlight with up and down arrows. My local Audi Indy hasn't come across any before but will book it in with him to take a look at.
Do you know what a worse case scenario is cost wise? Presume it's If motors failed? Can the headlights be manually adjusted as a...
i assume that is what it is that popped up on my DIS this morning.
It sounds expensive before I even consider it. Could it possibly just be stuck or something? Anywhere I can look under bonnet? I'm pretty clueless really.
Thanks in advance
