What would u say tightening to 25nm feels like??
I'm fitting a downpipe to my 2002 s3 (f-Ing pig of a job) and I can't get a socket on one of the nuts, what would 25nm feel like with a spanner??
Does the oem s3 bam manifold have slits in the lower bolts? Half way through changing the downpipe and noticed slits under 3 of the manifold bolts

Who knows which spring seats i need to order in the below pick. I have a 2002 S3 and will be replacing the springs as one looks to have split. Do I need both upper and lower seats ie parts 4a + 4 + 2 + 3

I had a knocking similar to this, happened as I accelerated and worse when cornering especially turning left but not when I lifted of accelerator.
I changed the front wishbones, ball joints and track rods but still there. It turned out to be the driveshaft which failed might be worth checking...

Found the eBay drive shaft, saved me £300 as nowhere else had a o/s shaft except audi. I'll post what the qualities like

If i remove the inner joint of the driveshaft I can remove the drive shaft leaving whats left of the outer CV joint in place. Will i be able to drive the car back to my house with only the n/s driveshaft attached? the outer joint will still be attached to the hub but no link to diff. This will...
