In a car properly set up you have a light sensor in the rear view mirror - if you don't have this you can do it by putting a short in the wiring to simulate the light sensor saying its dark, with that and some vcds coding you can make it work - but as I say it will operate whether its dark...

B5NUT cheers, yeah I read about the issue with a faulty module causing battery drain but to be honest, mine doesn't seem to be suffering with that, I was just wanting to check the fuse to see if A it had blown or B if the module had locked up in some way.
I picked up a 2008 S3 the other day with a concert stereo, for the first few days the bluetooth worked flawlessly, now I have the following symptoms. Steering wheel mode and call buttons don't do anything (toggle buttons still work for volume and changing channel) and no sign of a bluetooth...
