Never heard of anyone trying but 15mm spacers on the front will sometimes rub at full lock. 40mm wider tyres sound linke they may have the same effect.

Happens to me all the time. Water is so hard around our way that if it drips from the wing mirrors after washing I have to polish the marks out!
Agree with Moff, try stage 1 (or SRP etc) or for a more gentle approach a clay bar.

Used mine at the weekend - cut though almost a week of road grime (only light dust) and looked like it had been washed and waxed. Not swirls as long as you use enough and a microfibre cloth.

Glad it wasn't just me who spent time thawing out the hosepipe over the weekend. 2 buckets of hot water over the reel and plenty of stamping on the reeled out hose (not good I know ) finally did it.

Seem to remember 1465 for a 225 TTC.
I always wondered about the 1395 figure quoted in Evo - it was lower than the 180 (smaller turbo, 1 less intercooler, smaller brakes).
Maybe they took the 75kg driver allowance off an already unladen car.

Same situation as Dunc with the old traffic islands. Quattro and ESP are great when you put your foot down but just try breaking and you may as well be in a 2WD car.
Fatter tyres and ABS just make thigs worse as I found out this morning.
