Drilling the CAT - is it wise?
Hi, Just replaced the turbo on my 2.5 TDI A4 Cabrio. The turbo guy advised putting a 20mm hole through the filter gauze just inside the catalytic converter. Looking down inside the catalytic converter there is clearly soot - however is it sensible to drill a hole through the filter gauze? Any...- geoffreytro
