    Had exactly same problem on my 2005 Audi A3. Thanks to your pics and explanation, managed to replace the new plastic cable retainer to the seat back framework. Got same from Audi agents for £0.68. Did not need to buy the cable. Not sure though, that the seat airbag switches off with passenger...
