Just had the result of my diagnosis , turbo failure , many thanks stevegrass777 , after your input I steered the garage towards turbo issue and saved a bit of cash on diagnosing the fault many thanks !!!

The car has nearly done 102 k and has had a replacement turbo fitted , in the past , I have paperwork for this , no guarantee with this turbo or if the seals are damaged , no play what so ever in the turbo shaft either , I don't think it's valve seats as it's losing too much oil in a short time...

I ve taken the air feed pipe off. The turbo and could see oil spraying off the blades in the turbo chamber on to the wall of the turbo , either the turbo it self is leaking internally or the seal on the turbo has gone and sending oil in to the bores ! Anyone come across this issue ?????

The car is actually burning the oil in the cylinders , and smoking like a train in the process , just trying to work out how the oil is getting in the cylinders ? ???? B.

Hi guys , I need some advice for audi a4 3.0 tdi just had my injectors re manufactured , after refitting I seem to be burning oil at an alarming rate , I drive it for 30 to 40 miles and it goes from max to minimum ! Any ideas ????

Thanks for this info been looking for instructions for a few days , could you tell me how to stop fuel pressure blowing diesel every where , also do I need to go to audi garage to programme replacement injectors , if so will the engine run to get the car to the garage ? Thanks guys
