I’ve got the storm plus (well had the storm then had the tracker added afterwards) and can’t fault it. As well as being able to see where the car is at any time it rings/texts your phone if anyone’s tampering with the car
I might be wrong here but I think you can have I set up with a key code instead of the tags but then you don’t get the anti-hijack function. Not sure if the remote activation by phone works without anti-hijack though.
You can check the license expiry date on the MMI in the car. I think it’s under settings. Mine expires 3 years from the date I picked the car up (although was told by the salesperson it lasts for the duration I own the car so not sure if they’ll extend it when it expires)
I suppose that assumes they’ve figured out they need the tag and it’s not just an immobiliser/ghost/Pandora set up with the key code etc.
I’ve had the Nav-X system added too which is a basic tracker but means you can disable the car remotely if they did take the keys and the tag. Also...
You’ll get it at the interest rate you signed for originally. I picked mine up two weeks ago and had to re-do the finance as the part-ex and settlement figures had changed and they opened the old ‘deal’ to revert back to the original rate
February this year and was originally told I’d be looking about March 2023 which I was fine with but got told the next week that somehow it had been given a week 14 2022 build week, which then slipped a bit but last email I had said it’d be next week (as it stood at the time).
Adam I spoke to someone at Warrington yesterday and apparently all the RS3s they had on order with provisional build weeks have had them pulled. Mine was due to be built next week and now back to no date! Have you got any idea what’s going on?
