Responding to my own post here but a quick Google give me; Volkswerk, 19-33 North Road, Middlesbrough, TS2 1DD. They have quoted £350 for cambelt and water pump. Strangely, £90 for Haldex. Any opinions?

Just called Stockton Audi for some costs for a potential car I have in mind to buy, as it needs the following; Cambelt & Waterpump £550 Haldex £90 Can anyone recommend any local independents I could try for a better quote? Located Hartlepool, but Teeside or Durham areas would be fine.

Pulled out of this particular S3, seller warned of wear to drivers seat bolster which I know is common. After seeing a photo though, ouch, looks like him or the previous owner wears t-shirts made from sandpaper! Search continues.

lol. Its like leather seats, if their car doesnt have it they say cloth is better. No doubt the mileage is reasonably average for the year, as much as it is also common to see 40K or less. Its just Ive never owned a car with more than 60K so am not sure if I could expect more parts failing...

I've spotted a 2007 S3, with every extra I wanted, the downside is 76,000 miles. Providing all service history is present and correct and the car is in good condition, should I otherwise be concerned ? I only do about 5,000 miles a year. What price range would be reasonable on said car?
