Hi all quick question my girlfriends a3 1.9tdi has a little problem it's got the milky substance on the oil cap which to me is the head gasket but the car also has the Egr cooler which I've read a few posts before about them leaking and also causes the milky substance on the oil cap. I was just...
Thanks @OliNix I'm going to jack it all up again today and remove the passenger assembly and re fit it all and see how it goes. I will double check the anti roll bar aswel. Hopefully it's booked back in tomorrow for tracking and hopefully it is sorted fingers crossed
The results last year on the front camber where roughly -1.3 degrees with both front camber been 0.03 degrees away from each other and this year with another set of new control arms top mounts and anti roll bar bushes the drivers side front camber is -1.37 and the passenger front is -2.01...
I know it's not a b7 but it's a b6 and I know the b7 has the same set up but here it goes. Hi everyone wondering if someone could help me out a little bit. With my a4 b6 quattro avant. Last year I put a new set of front control arms (complete set) along with H&r lowering springs got it tracked...
Hi everyone wondering if someone could help me out a little bit. With my a4 b6 quattro avant. Last year I put a new set of front control arms (complete set) along with H&r lowering springs got it tracked and everything was spot on front camber was within the green tolerance on the machine at my...
Thanks @QuattroCalum I will check it out. I'm not sure yet @Gazwould but I'm expecting about 210bhp with the mods I have but I will be putting a bigger turbo on in the future
Thanks @QuattroCalum the gearbox is out of a passat and not to fussed about fabricating any mounts. I will have a look on ukpassat forum. Getrag? Is that who's made the gearbox?
Hi all some of you's might of seen the project I'm on doing on an a4 avant 1.9tdi. My question is, is that the car has a 5 speed manual gearbox and with me putting a larger turbo on I was just curious as to weather or not to put a 6 speed gearbox in as I know they have the larger 240mm clutch...
I have a set of a5 alloys 18"x8.5j et29 with 245/40/18 tyres I did slightly roll the front wings and adjust my rear camber to -1.5degree and they are fine with no catching unless I have about 2-300kg in the back
Well a little update I've managed to tint all the rear windows to 5% they turned out better than I thought apart from the rear window that was a nightmare still thinking about getting someone to come and do it professionally. All the front suspension arms are stripped ready for new ones to be...
Ok thanks @desertstorm I know what your saying with mapped diesels and clutches my a4 quattro avant 1.9tdi eats them. If you don't mind me asking what mods did you have on your passat?
Thanks @desertstorm I was hoping for roughly 200-220bhp so the stock injectors will be ok for that? The car had a new clutch before I bought it so I'm hoping it should hold but if not I've seen people run the vr6/g60 is that right?
I'm not sure I've just read a few threads and they where saying 200 is pretty maxed out on stock injectors. A don't really want to go and take the car for mapping if the fuel is going to be maxed out at 200bhp then have to buy some bigger nozzles and pay for mapping again
Hi all some of you's might of seen my project I am on doing. To my a4 b6 avant 1.9tdi awx. I've put a gt2052v turbo on from the 2.5 tdi. I've done some research and a lot of people are saying that the stock injectors are only good for 200bhp? Is that correct? Also if I went to put bigger nozzles...
Not much of an update but I've done a bit more on the car today I managed to fab up the down pipe just need to fully weld it
I also mounted my filter and got some measurements so I can finish my intercooler pipe work to
Ok so between yesterday and today I managed to get my gauges wired in all I need now is a t-piece for my water temp sensor. I bought some pipe, mandrel bend and a flexi so I can make a start on the exhaust sometime this week. I would of made a full stainless system like what I made for my other...

Ok so a little update. I managed to sort the vacuum pipes out and got rid of the Egr solenoid and anti shudder one and just ran the n75 with the vacuum ball. I replaced the old vacuum lines with some new red silicon vacuum lines. I finished making my plate to mount my gauges. My mate should be...
