Well it all sounds like a real pain in the *** to do. I might try a breakers for a whole frame unit and swap the lot as the rivets dont look like regular pop ones lol.
Cheers for the advice!
The other week my window decided to wind down but then on the way up stopped and made a nice grinding noise. I managed to catch it and push it back up by hand. A quick search on hear showed the problem was likely to be a broken plastic clip. Armed with some printouts and glue I set about sorting...
I had APR. It overfuelled, was set up for american fuel and climate. The limp home system had been overwritten so basically the car wouldnt have ever gone into a safe mode. It drove ok normally but i dread to think what could have happened if something had gone wrong. Boost and power used to...
some interesting figures
30miles a day round trip for work
80 miles round trip twice a week travelling to and from girlfriends.
about 400miles from a tank with some occasional blasts
Secret Squirrel - what mods and power are you running?
I'd say AndyTQ's info is probably right as mine is maxed about 220ish i reckon.

I have Blueflame on mine (A3 1.8t Quattro)
Downpipe
Sports Cat
Full system!
I love it, released some extra boost, extra power and looks loads better than the powerflow. I also manage to get over 425miles from a tank over the 360 i was getting with the old exhaust!
The only thing is...

Basically route the wire from the battery, under the airbox and into the plastic casing running up the bulkhead into near where the pollon filter is. I found a grommet to the far passenger side of the pollon filter housing to run the wire through into the car. Its then just a case of routing it...
Cheers guys, looks like i'll be bending the pipe.
Chris, doesnt yours have a small bracket on the drivers side of the brace? Whats it used for.
Cheers

Drivers side strut brace mounting on S3 or people who have fitted them onto the S3
I have a hard coolant pipe running back to the top of the header tank that looks like its going to foul the brace. Anyone else had a similar problem? Think im probably going to have to chop the pipe then use a...
LOL So it is, i have walked around your car at all the shows i have seen it at and never noticed it was facelift.
Yeah i'm thinking of doing the S3 front bumper for the moment and see how it lines up with the wings and depending on cost and quality of fitment S3 front and rear arches with a...
