Yes, there is a plastic collar you have to force off the a3 gearknob to release the gaiter and same with the old gearknob, then you have to trim the a3 plastic collar to make way for the stitching on the a4 gaiter, I should have took pictures but didn't think.... A3 gear knob arrived and is fitted, not straight forward but easy enough to do Old tired one Nice new perforated one.

Looks a tidy motor Ross.

I did all locks (door,boot,ignition and glove box) in just under 2 hours. Cost all of £25 for a used lock set.

All done and dusted now, how Audi can warrant the charge of £450 for just labour is beyond me.

After having my s4 stolen and receive red last weekend I've sourced a 2nd hand lock set and I'm planning on fitting it all myself. Anyone on here done it before and can offer me some tips or a guide on how to go about it, I've looked on elsawin but can't find what I'm after... Tia

I have the connects2 kit in my s4, allows full use of the steering wheel buttons etc but won't show track names etc... Well worth the £40 I paid for it

Cheers guys, looking at the front arch/side of sill of mine it looks no different to that of an SE, obviously I have door blades but that won't effect the mud flaps. Think I'll just buy a set and see...

Just wondering if there is any difference between Normal a4 mudflaps to ones that will fit an s4, an Audi dealer that flog on eBay replied to a message I sent saying they wouldn't fit my s4? Cheers
