got the same problem. Spoke to amd yesterday who confirmed it was brake pads. Apparently the priority 1 alarms mean pull over & stop driving now. Whereas he reckoned you've probably got about 1k left on the brake pads once the (0) symbol is shown.
same problem with mine a few months ago. Mine was the longitudinal sensor - dealer wanted about £900 IIRC. Although, Audi UK contributed about £400 in the end.
To me it sounds like they'be behaved like a bunch of dicks & dont deserve the business. Politeness & common courtesy cost nothing but go along way - shouldn't matter how expensive the item is. Try montys wheels & tyres in the future, they'll match Rochfords price & Paul is always...
Read this post last week & felt quite chuffed that I had no such annoying problem. Until today! Driving home after Christmas at my folks today & the car was fine. Got home, parked up for 5 minutes then went to go out again. The car started stuttering & making a louder noise (as if...
Disagree completely - don't see what the problem with the inpro ones are. However, I do think they would look tacky on anything other than an s / rs variant - most people wouldn't even know they weren't originals!
I had exactly the same problem, sometimes it would come on near as damn it straight away, othertime it wouldn't come on at all. I had to replace the longitudinal sensor. Audi quoted me around £1k to start with but as the car was just out of warranty Audi UK agreed to pay about half.
Cool, thanks guys. As I said I'm well chuffed with it, about to leave work and am itching to get behind the wheel again! Managed to get through 3/4 a tank yesterday just through driving it around aimlessly!
Is Barometric pressure the same as boost? If so 1006 mb!
Remap & viper dump valve. I will say though the difference is outstanding and I'm well chuffed with it. The fig's just don't seem as high as some I have seen.
Hi All, had my car (210 S3) remapped at AMD on Friday. First up I've got to say what a difference, the car is now truely awesome. I'm just wondering what torque & bhp gains everyone else has got post chipping. My print outs say 262bhp & 254lb/ft of torque. Looking at everyone else's...
Cheers for that! Managed to do it last night without removing any screws whatsoever. Just a bit of wiggling and a good pull! It was those hexagon nuts (No 4 in figure A66-0013) which I couldn't get out. New covers seemed to snap back on easy enough.
Anyone had these on their car for any length...
Cheers for that, will have another look tonight. The instructions do say to remove the screws, but thinking about it - I think they penetrate through the black plastic section of the mirrors!? Hmm......
Hi all, just bought some of these and I can't for the life of me seem to be able to remove the retaining screws from the underside of the existing wing mirror casing, I just seem to be nackering up the head of the screw. Any ideas?
I've seen a TT with some 9 spoke (i think) wheels which resemble rstt's. Except the spokes are a bit more "square" and have some writing on one of the spokes (possibly looks like momo?). Anyone know what these are / where you can get them?
Cheers All
