By Reqire you mean take the back of the headlight switch unit off and play around with the wires inside ? Sorry, real numpty when it comes to cars at times !!

Ahh thats fair enough, was worth a shout.. Thought bose was supposed to be the bees knees,... instead its sounding more of a hindrance for audi car buyers... But thats fair enough, would be cool to build my own enclosure for the audi anyways :)

Second to that, another thought... everyones speaking about the bose speaker being flimsy and fairly crud, for the sub to work it would require a positive and negative correct? Surely if you replaced the bose sub, with your own aftermarket sub, would that not fix the problem? or is it that the...

So you would say best advice is to hold off on the switch fitting for the moment until i get bi xenons and my lower DRL grills fitted then its just straight wiring into eachother? :)

Kevin, just a question about your switch, do you have headlight adjustment on your car? currently my switch has all of those features but where the DRL switch is, it is actually headlight height adjustment... do you think this would affect fitting this switch to my car ?

Basically trying to fit a new headlight switch (pictured above) which will allow me to wire in DRL grill lights in the future but would need to be compatible with every other feature i hjave on the car already... does that make any sense ? :) Talk about specifics !!

Ash if you could explain further on the wiring as i'll have to do this all myself when I pick up the part this week... I'm coming from a 8P2 S line with standard halogens... reading the recent posts it seems like theres some proper wiring to do with this job and not just a plug and play solution.

always thought that if you have 3 door car, tinting will leave bubbling on the car due to the dotted edges... anyone know if dealerships retail factory tinted glass for these models ?
