I had D3 and it is a dream to drive (4.2tdi engine)... Cost to own is significantly higher compared to all cars i had before, eg. X5's, 7 series bmw, Jag XJ etc. Service record/s is a must for proof of work done on the car. It's a premium brand with top of the range model hence expect higher...

On that note I went to pan Euro trip recently and guess what... Bought the magnetic UK emblem that fell off on me A8 :)... Doesn't stick to aluminium! :)

Hi, I recently updated mmi software to 5570 an during the process lost the battery monitor. Not a huge loss tbh :)... But would like to get it back and look at some other options. I tried car+setup to mo avail so was wondering does anyone know how to access the hidden menu on 8's? Cheers

I think 3.0TDI's only came in 4x4 mode [Quattro] and Tiptronic is the gearbox they used on them [don't know the ZF's code from top of my head]. One way to check/validate is to start the car and move gear lever to the right [tiptronic mode] and see how many gears/number pop on the dash. 1..6 -...

are you having any notable issues with yours...? and what is the mileage on a car? Personally if it is a Tiptronic [fitted to all Quattro's] I wouldn't touch it... M'tronic - different story.

morning guys, it's been some time since I posted or participated in this forum and I'm planning an Audi comeback episode :)... hence was wondering has anyone got any knowledge or hints what to look for on an Allroad or list of common issues/faults etc?

stock Audi 110Ah batt. (made by Varta)... it was a simple swap out, old one out -> new one - in. I also noticed that everything worked right away and no issues with electrics and no coding of radio/MMI required. Is that 'typical experience'?

hi guys, I did re-run the scan on VCDS (following a batt. replacement) and I get the same set of errors as I mentioned in my original post... needless to say that my vehicle didn't want to start on disembarking the ferry in Calais :) (and with new battery). Considering I had driven it for 3h+...

hey guys, i sometimes have intermittent parking problems on my Avant (mainly rear though)... and what's more interesting front ones do work irrespective if rears are okay or not - is this typical behavior? One other thing i'm a bit suspicions is that they are not genuine Audi (probably have...
