Been watching bobbys diesel tuning projects over the years and must say I'm impressed with what he can do. Been a really eye opener with all the john deer turbochargers etc..love this kind of tuning.I will definitely be contacting him regarding my new project.

Really struggling here guys,how an earth do get the threaded sleeve out (aux tentioner)when its impossible to get a spanner behind it to remove the 13mm bolt?trying to fit the new bushes without joy..any help would be much appreciated.!

Does anyone have a guide or any tips on how to remove the aux tensioner bracket and spring on my AKE 2.5tdi...ive got the new bracket new belts and pulleys as the old one has failed and has started to rub on the cover. Ive really struggled to find a how guide on removal.. Cheers

Fitted a new battery as the old one was not holding charge.

Which later required having new lower control arms fitted (186k on the oem)..this has really tightened up steering feel.MOT passed!

MOT this morning...Feels like going to dentist! lol.

Well quite a constructive day,gave the old girl a full service.Also replaced my worn out drop links and arb bushes..its definitely sharpened up the steering feel which is a bonus!

Just clocked 184k today still going strong,also treated the old girl to a new needle lift sensor which has made a noticeable difference in performance and mpg thank god!

:yes: That garage sounds like a bunch of cowboys lol .I trust my local mot station to honest mate,its not worth them loosing there business turning a blind eye also risking peoples safety. I wouldn't want to drive a car that wasn't 100% . Also lucky for me the last owner kept her in top...

Had my mot today.....and she passed with no advisories happy days! Not bad going for a car with 170k under her belt!:rock:

Thanks for the info mate,will have to pop back to AMD and see if they can delete it.Should have thought about it before the remap:) Decoked the anti shudder valve and inlet manifold the other day and it made a noticeable difference.

Darkside developments just quoted £250+vat for a custom remap,downside is they don't have a 4wd rolling road... Really would like to have it tuned on a dyno, I'm not into chasing dyno numbers but it would nice know its setup/working properly.

Hi,can anyone recommend a good tuning box for my 2002 a4 b6 2.5 v6 tdi? I've never had any experience with this type of tuning and just wondered if they make the claimed figures nm/bhp wise. Or would it be better to go to someone like darkside development for a remap? Cheers

Right just spoken to Audi head office...they have confirmed that 8E0 513 036 AF (in black) are the correct shocks for my (1 BE) coded car. So I can only think that Audi have stopped powder coating there sports suspension red!.. Anyway just received my new oem bump stops and dust covers from...

Right i see what you mean, just found 1 BE in my sevice book.So i wonder whats the difference is?S4 related shocks?

Update! Having a bit of a nightmare with this..I've been down to Audi and got them to order part number 8E0 513 033L listed as (gas filled shock absorber/for sports-type running gear)to compare the AF and L. I've been told it will take up to 6 days to arrive from Germany...So the wait goes on.
