    In my you should go with a trusted brand like revo or apr. You get what you pay for and its your engine and turbo at stake if it all goes pete tong because someone thinks they know what they are doing

    I dunno why either. The s-tronic is very strong. There is a thread somewhere of a golf running something like 500bhp and 700 nm and still holding up

    S-tronic beats tip tronic alday in my opinion. The newer wet plate ones are very strong too

    I have s-tronic in my a3 which i think is brilliant, dont think i would go back to a manual now. The multitronic in the a6 i very good aswell. Hard to explain how it works as it doent have gears as such. It is the smoothest gearbox ive ever experienced driving

    Yeah the a7 is better looking but alot more expensive. The mulitronic gearbox is brilliant too but if your used to an s3 perhaps you should go for the 3.0 tdi

    Does anyone know if the k04 turbo from the s3 will fit my a3 2.0tfsi (2.0tsi ea888 engine). They look identical in pictures with the only noticeable difference being the dv relocation. Has anyone done this? Im thinking i may be about to get a k04 upgrade with out having to pay out 2.5k to apr

    That rules that out then. I dont know about ecu mapping but i was just curious as audi still call it tfsi and there can be confusion around parts etc

    I would say its safe to drive just not to overtake safely. Cheers ill keep this thread posted after i go back. I was wondering if they uploaded the map for the old tfsi in stead of the new tsi that in mine
