Hello Could someone just confirm a picture of the 4b c5 1.8T 1999 front brake pads please? I've found a nice set of brembo pads and just need to confirm the pattern to make sure I order the right ones , I would take mine off now but I'm about to take my son out fora Weekend of truck racing .

I barley made it home yesterday, start and stopping loss of power black smoke from the exhaust, cutting out in idle I'll check later to see how much play there is in the shaft again .

Thanks I've sent them an email , the replacement program is cheaper then the euro car parts price . I'll see what that come back with.

Ouch!!!! I'm looking at a bill of £50 minimum to do the barrel plus I just had a cv boot replaced to find out the cv joint has gone so that was £78 wasted to now pay £120 to get the joint done , the fun of cars :relaxed:

In truth I don't know I found it on eBay ,From what I can see there all close to that price but it's identical to the parts in my picture so fingers crossed

I've just ordered a new repair kit for £3 :-) I'll get my local garage to rebuild it

sadly this happened when replacing the door lock today , is it worth trying to get it fixed or get a new barrle?

I've fitted the new l.e.d. indicators wich are much better The headlights are now fully l.e.d. run :)

I know this is an old post but was this an ok eBay purchase ? Did everything fit ok? Plus I'm guessing the a4 1.8T aeb is the same at the A6 1.8t aeb?
