My wife's car is having a few issue with the speakers in the rear doors. We've had the car a few months, and had no problems so far. Until that is the rear speakers starting messing about by either not playing sound or crackling. I'm not sure what I should look at first. The stereo seems ok...
That sounds good, but my ambition is to connect my iPod or phone into the stereo. Possibly add some subwoofers too. Can the symphony II do that? I'm hopeful, but not holding my breath. :))
I've got tired of listening to the same old cd's and I don't have any tapes anymore, so I want to change the head unit over. I know very little about the setup within the car and I'm a little wary about changing anything, before learning a little first. Is it just a swap over with a harness...
How would I go about finding a suitable intercooler? Where do I start? Don't really wanna do anything clutch based as I only replaced it a few months back.
Check around the pollen filter under the passenger side of the scuttle panel. If there is a lot of rubbish around the outer edge, all the water gets channelled down. That leads through the ventilation into the footwell. I had the same problem. Hopefully this helps.
I'm trying to get a few ideas for power upgrades for my a6 c5. It's had a remap, performance filter done. The exhaust is booked in, but what the next logical step? Any useful, non bank breaking suggestions, would be appreciated.
Many thanks
Ah ok. Didn't realise I had one of those. Thought that was on newer cars alone. Is that something I can check, (as a hobby mechanic) or do i need a garage to do this? :)
