I have not been on this forum for around 6 months. I went from having an 8p to 8v and then jumped ship to a bmw f40. This was because I preferred the interior / set up and also due to the dealers not really giving 2’fs when I enquired about the new model launch / when it was in the showroom and...
As mentioned removing the wheel is Common problem in VAG motors especially on the rear. Had this on a previous golf and 2 Audi’s. I have a f30 touring and f40 now and not experienced this problem. They won’t take the wheels off now a days during serving. The fact the bolts were on so right...
Prior to forking out anything. I would suggest making sure that it is actually requiring replaced and not an " up sale" when your car was in to get serviced to make the company an extra couple of hundred quid when it is in for work. I don't know the age of your car, but if you have MOT protect...
I have just had the disks and pads changed front and back on my a3. It’s done 87k. 1st swap for the fronts and 2nd time for the backs. Also got the disk guards all changed also due to rotting. This time i went for pagid which can be looked up on eurocad parts. Went oem last time on back and they...

If you have someone who can check if your car has different front callipers you are onto a winner. As if they are the same the wheel will clear. If larger, I think you would struggle. As not a lot of clearance.
Its Audi, everything is an optional extra to make the car cheaper to go into and more attractive. As soon as you want more pay more. Then come trade in get nothing for the optional extras. Welcome to the premium branding.
Don't know what the road tax is on the 1ltr, but its 20quid on the derv.
If you are doing loads of dual / motorway miles no brainer go for the derv. As no mater what the say the 1ltr will not be giving you over 50mpg.
