If you negate to have the dsg oil changed and 40k miles could/would it damage or affect the driveshaft?
Also do all service records go on to one Audi Data base or is it all specific to each dealer/ dealer network?
Cheers for any help
Sorry if this has been asked before. Have done a search. Does any one know the Diameter of the front discs for a 2004 2.0tdi? there are a couple of options showing up with the supplier 288mm and 312mm ones for 138bhp and the other 140bhp.
Hard to tell as I had the exhaust fitted the following day. I the brief period before I did notice that the car reved a lot more freely than before. IMO aftermarket filters do tend to be less restrictive than their paper equivalent.
I have had a K&N pannel fillter fitted for the last 2 years, not had any problems. I have also cleaned and re-oiled it, again with no problems. Might just be lucky but I think a few people may get a bit too keen when re-oiling.
I've got the vredesteins on the front at the moment. They were ok when on the back however i'm not too keen on them now i have changed them over. Think I will stick with the GSD3. If you are looking for tyres at a good price i have always found http://www.mytyres.co.uk/start.html to be the cheapest.
Mine has Stalled a couple of times. Once when the car was crawling in traffic coming up to a round-about. The other when reversing (on the flat) off my drive. Audi looked at it but said that nothing was wrong.
Thank for that. Error 3 means that there is a problem with the changer. Unfortunately the way it tell you to solve it isn't working.I have ordered some keys from ebay. Will try both options when I have them. Car is still in warranty (untill october this year)Will have to see how fixing it myself...
I put a CD into slot 6 of the in dash changer. After about 30 secs I heard a strange noise, so i turned the unit off and it went away. When I turned it back on the CD player would not work. None of the discs will play or eject. I finally got error 3 showing.
Any one know of any way to solve...
I have seen the way at least one of the guys from there "test drove" a 3.2v6 A3 after its service. I wouldn't be too keen to spend nearly 30k on a car that has been treated like that for 5k miles. Plus Hatfield Audi use to be owned by HR owen, so everything is priced over the odds.IMO
They were recently taken over by the Wayside Group. Along with Hitchin Audi. Not been back since they were taken over.
Never had a good experience with them, like people have said their customer service leaves something to be desired.
Huntingdon Audi do wash and hoover your car after a service. They have 2 marquees next to the showroom where they clean them. I take great care over the paint work on my car and I have to say that they seem to do the same.
Every Time i have taken my car in for a service or to have work done I have always been given a carbon copy of the sheet they fill in to mark any damage. They really should have done this. I really hate this dealer Lottery we have to play. I now have to (out of principle) drive 50 miles to get...
If they contact me to tell me the rears need replacing and not the fronts I will be trying to find out why. As mentioned before the rears should outlast the fronts by a long way.
